On 14 September 2026, Smartlog Supply Chain Solutions Corporation (Smartlog) officially launched a comprehensive supply chain strategy consulting project for a leading fertilizer enterprise in the Mekong Delta.
The ceremony was presided over by the leadership of both enterprises, with the participation of representatives from relevant departments and the professional teams directly involved in project implementation.
The project aims to establish a comprehensive assessment of the enterprise’s existing supply chain, define its development direction through 2030 with a vision to 2040, and provide a foundation for long-term logistics investment decisions.
About Our Customer
The client is a fertilizer manufacturer and supplier with an extensive domestic distribution network and a product presence in multiple international markets. According to information published in 2023, the enterprise held more than 60% of the fertilizer market in the Mekong Delta, demonstrating its established position and supply capabilities in one of Vietnam’s key agricultural production regions.
Alongside the development of production capabilities, product diversification, and market expansion, the enterprise places strong emphasis on renewing management practices, improving operational efficiency, and developing a modern, flexible, and sustainable supply chain.
With a logistics network connecting manufacturing plants, warehouses, ports, and multiple modes of transport, the enterprise has identified the need for a comprehensive logistics management strategy to ensure coordination, optimize resources, and enhance management effectiveness across the supply chain.
The initiative to undertake a logistics strategy and digital transformation consulting project further demonstrates the enterprise’s long-term vision, progressive management approach, and determination to innovate, establishing a solid foundation for greater competitiveness and sustainable development in the next phase.
About the Supply Chain Strategy Consulting Project
The project is expected to be implemented over 16 weeks, covering assessments at approximately 25 operational locations nationwide, including manufacturing plants, regional warehouses, ports, and related logistics hubs. Reflecting its scale and depth, the project combines on-site assessments, data analysis, and scenario simulation to formulate a long-term development direction for the logistics system.
Drawing on the enterprise’s operational data and actual practices, key areas—including cost to serve, network structure, warehouse capacity, service quality, and investment effectiveness—will be analyzed and quantified, providing an evidence-based and practical foundation for strategic planning and resource optimization.
In addition to logistics network and infrastructure planning, the project will focus on defining a digital transformation direction and developing selection criteria for transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and order management systems (OMS). These efforts will contribute to a coordinated technology adoption roadmap aligned with the enterprise’s operational requirements and long-term development strategy.
Smartlog’s Commitment
With experience in consulting and implementing logistics and supply chain digital transformation projects in Vietnam and the region, Smartlog approaches the project through a thorough understanding of operational practices, the effective use of data, and close alignment with the enterprise’s long-term development direction.
In this spirit, Smartlog will work closely with the client to conduct surveys, assess current operations, and develop recommendations, with a focus on practical, feasible solutions that support the enterprise’s development strategy.
At the ceremony, both parties reached agreement on the project objectives, scope, and coordination approach, establishing a foundation for coordinated and effective implementation in the coming period.
The collaboration marks a further step in the enterprise’s management modernization and digital transformation journey, while reaffirming its strategic vision, proactive approach to innovation, and determination to pursue sustainable development.
This initiative also represents a concrete step aligned with the orientations of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the State on advancing science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation. It contributes to enhancing competitiveness, modernizing production and business operations, and promoting the development of Vietnam’s industrial sector.
