SMARTLOG OFFICIALLY KICKS OFF STM TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION FOR PHU THAI CAT

On September 28, 2026, Smartlog Supply Chain Solutions Corporation (Smartlog) officially launched the implementation of its Smartlog Transportation Management System (STM) for Phu Thai Industrial Company Limited (Phu Thai Cat). The project represents a concrete step in Phu Thai Cat’s logistics digital transformation strategy, focusing on strengthening transportation management, standardizing delivery processes, and improving data connectivity across its distribution operations.

STM is expected to establish a centralized approach to transportation management, enabling more efficient dispatching, closer monitoring of delivery progress, and stronger service quality control. The solution is designed to address the specific requirements of distributing industrial machinery, equipment, and spare parts nationwide.

About Our Customer

Phu Thai Cat distributes machinery and equipment and provides technical solutions in Vietnam, serving key industries including construction, mining, marine, and energy.

Alongside its specialized machinery and equipment business, Phu Thai Cat supplies spare parts and provides technical support to meet customers’ maintenance and repair needs and sustain equipment performance. Phu Thai Cat currently uses multiple transportation methods to serve customers nationwide. As part of its logistics modernization strategy, Phu Thai Cat has selected Smartlog’s STM solution to progressively strengthen transportation management, improve coordination across departments, and enhance visibility and control throughout the delivery process.

About the STM Implementation Project

The transport management system STM implementation is scheduled to take approximately 13 weeks, covering three warehouses in Hung Yen, Cam Pha, and Long Thanh. The solution is designed to support centralized transportation management while accommodating the company’s existing delivery methods.

The implementation scope covers core transportation processes, including transport order receipt and processing, delivery planning, vehicle dispatching, execution monitoring, document management, and transportation cost control. Digitizing and standardizing these processes on a single platform will improve data consistency, support operational coordination, and provide timely information for management decisions.

A key feature of the project is STM’s integration with Phu Thai Cat’s existing order management and customer relationship management systems, as well as its connection to Viettel Post’s parcel delivery management platform. These integrations will synchronize order information, transportation plans, and delivery statuses, enabling seamless data exchange across distribution activities.

STM will also incorporate GPS tracking data, a driver application, and an online order tracking portal to support shipment tracking, electronic document updates, and delivery status management. These capabilities will improve operational visibility and enable the company to identify and address transportation issues promptly.

Through these capabilities, Smartlog helps Phu Thai Cat can improve coordination with transportation providers, reduce manual tasks, and proactively manage delivery progress. Timely delivery updates will also contribute to greater transparency and improved customer service.
